The Ping Rapture V2 Driver, namely, it is the upgrated version of the original Rapture drivers lineup from Ping golf clubs. In 2006, Ping published their original Rapture range with the aim of combining a variety of materials to produce the most technologically advanced clubs they could. In 2008, the sequel part of this line debuted as the release of the Ping Rapture V2 Driver, with a slightly elongated face profile and high-technology mix of titanium body with tungsten weights.

Ping Rapture V2 with stiff and regular to create a high launching, lower spinning driver, with mass properties of tungsten and titanium optimized in V2 Driver, delivers the performance expectedfrom a multi-metal design. The visible, dense tungsten weight pads in the back of the lightweight titanium head expand the perimeter. The PING Rapture V2 Driver was created to optimize ball speed, spin rate and launch angle.combined external weight pads to create a lower spinning, higher launching driver with high MOI and added distance.

With a slightly elongated face profile and high-technology mix of titanium body with tungsten weights, the V2 capitalizes on the clubfitters' holy grail of high launch, low spin. The Ping Rapture V2 does this with performance and style. Dual Tungsten weights do the job of keeping weight low and deep in the head, to help get the ball airborne.

The Ping G15 Driver was as easy a driver to get off the tee as I recall ever hitting. An elongated face provides a sweet spot that covers the mi****s of most golfers. Heel and toe hits were not greatly penalized and most of my tee shots ended up in the short grass with only a small loss of distance on mi****s.

The G15 Driver is engineered for golfers seeking a maximum forgiveness driver that delivers distance and accuracy. Its 460cc titanium head is longer front to back and features PINGs patented ultra thin crown technology. Weight savings from the thin crown are positioned as an external sole weight to optimize the center of gravity for higher trajectories and reduced spin.
