To be perfectly honest, I've never been a fan of Titleist drivers. Ever since junior golf, I always found the swing weight to be off the driver head always felt way too heavy. When I picked up the Titleist 910 D3 Driver however, I immediately noticed the difference in the feel of the clubhead. I preferred the look of the D3 to the more rounded D2 call me old-fashioned, but the D2 just looks odd. The paint and finish look good, a little darker it seems than classic Titleist drivers.
The 910 D3 Driver longer distance through a technologically advanced head design with a responsive, fast face insert that creates a ball-speed area that is 10% larger than other drivers. The patented, innovative, SureFit Tour dual-angle hosel provides precise and independent loft and lie adjustments to fine tune ball flight for more accuracy and control.
The Titleist 910 D3 driver has a lower launch and spin that the Titleist 910 D2 Driver. An interchangeable shaft connection and rear weight screw provide enhanced fitting options and the full pear-shaped profile has a a rich black, PVD and paint finish that instills confidence at the address. This driver has been acoustically engineered for a hot, solid sound and feel and will be the star of the course!
For me, straight shots came easy with thePing K15 Driver, although the trajectory was a bit higher than I like. Fortunately, despite the high trajectory, I did get a little roll after the ball landed because the club's design reduces spin. It's also a very forgiving driver. Off-center hits didn't cause much of a distance loss at all.
The Ping K15 was named the perfect antidote for the slicer because of the draw bias model that helps those that slice to keep the ball more in the center of the fairway and they lose fewer shots off to the right. This will help your game if you are used to playing from the trees or the houses down the right side of the hole.
