The Mizuno MX-300 Irons 3-9P from Mizuno are slightly more on the game enhancement side than the game improvement side and few of the higher handicappers struggled a little with control. The Mizuno MX-300 Irons has been designed to provide players with a reduced offset.
Featuring reduced offset and a more compact head, the Mizuno MX-300 gives proficient ball strikers who find the MP series just a little bit too tough to hit consistently out of the sweet spot, the chance to experience the joys of Mizuno forging.
So although the MX-300 Irons could be in danger of having an identity crisis, Mizuno is confident that they fill a niche that lies between the shadowy boundaries of low and mid handicaps.
The Mizuno MX-200 Irons, nice club though it is, robs better players of elements of workability and shot-making, but the MX-300 gives all that back and more.
These MX-200 Irons can do the whole gamut, from long iron shots, to the shorter play around the greens. It is quite amazing how Mizuno were able to combine the buttery feel of a forged iron with technology designed to offer enhanced forgiveness.
